I chose this hotel for several reasons:
proximity to our house and the wedding; good rooms at a low rate; proximity to
several restaurants and a major shopping center; and it is only an $11/10 min
cab ride to the Staten Island Ferry (which will take you to downtown Manhattan).
Airports & Cars
The nearest airport is Newark, NJ. The next closest is
JFK. If you tell me in advance of your arrival, I may be able to pick you up at
these airports and save you between $30-$50 in cab fare.
should you rent a car? Not necessary, you can use cabs to get around staten
island And a charter bus will be available for transport the day of the wedding.
If you do want to rent a car, let me assure you, Staten Island traffic is slower
and more mild than the other NYC boroughs.
