Working Roles: The Roles of the Sephiroth (Tree of Life)

0 – Ain Soph – The nothingness from which all things form, the vacuum of pure spirit. Includes, as well as created, Ain Soph Aur, limitless light.

1 – Kether –The Crown. The first swirlings and motion of the created cosmos. Ruling over Kether, is the mighty and fiery angel Metatron. Metatron's Cube has been favored as both a containment and creation circle.

2 – Chokmah – Wisdom. Behavior, visualization, initiation, astrological influence. Chokmah is guided by Ratziel, the archangel, Ratziel visits when your wisdom grows to a point where your energy can be increased to the next level.

3 – Binah – Understanding. Developing self control, silence, secrecy and objective love. The Angelic order of the Aralim govern this realm as care-givers and builders of spirit.

Masak Mavdil – The Abyss for rejected failures. Daath – Knowledge – is the bridge of knowing human beings may use to cross this terrain in which a being called Mesukiel carefully hides both divine and human fiascos.

4 – Chesed – Mercy. Where one may drink deep of the joy in life, and show appreciation. Imbalance with too much Chesed brings emotional weakness, gullibility, melancholia, victimhood, masochism, and helplessness. Ruled by Chesmalim, the Laughing Angels.

5 – Geburah – Severity. Crisis, judgment, how to deal with the wrong-doer. The Devic Spirit-Workers who serve Geburah are called the Seraphim, or Fiery Ones, who assist in the fire ceremony.

6 – Tiphereth – Beauty. Human emotion, with loss comes the human need to be beautiful. The Malakhim, lead by Archangel Mikal protect our childlike purity of heart and remind us of our innocence.

7- Netzach – Victory. The situations in life that require an almost "Epic" or heroic level of effort to rise above ourselves. The Elohim, or Divine Voices of this realm create according to our words and ideas and are ruled by the Archangel Hamiel.

8 – Hod – Splendour. Memories, prophecies and fantasies that literally reshape one's life into complete lifestyles or reincarnations. An identity-pool of memory-predictions and allegorical stories. The Beni-Elohim, the sons of gods, are the sovereigns here.

9 – Yesod – Foundation. creativity, sexual pleasure and/or self-transformation. The sexual archetypes, the Aishim, the ideal images we consider perfect in man and woman work to wed our spirit to our soul.

10 – Malkuth – The Kingdom. Our path through life and nature given in symbols. Found here are the Kerubim, nature spirits underlying nature, often depicted as equal parts of the ox, eagle, lion and man. The archangel Atziluth is the Adonai Malakh, the Lord of Nature.

Klippoth – Shadow beings and demons, the world of action. represent unbalanced forces or excesses the primordial Old Ones. contains the matter of which stars, planets, and even men are made...chaotic turbulent matter, which is used in its finer state by spirits to robe themselves in...the "vesture" or form (rupa) of the incarnating Egos...the Manasaputras or Sons of Wisdom, use for the consolidation of their forms, in order to descend into lower spheres, the dregs of Swabhavat, or that plastic matter which is throughout Space
